Siskoni sanoi viime lauantaina tahdon Hirvihaaran kartanossa. Paikka oli kuin tehty häitä varten ja aurinko paistoi koko päivän pilvettömältä taivaalta. Häät olivat todella onnistuneet kaikin puolin. Naurettiin ja tanssittiin aamuun asti ja kyllä tää tunnehömppä itkikin taas. Se oli kyllä tiedossa, että kyyneleiltä ei voi välttyä. Näitä häitä oli jo hetki odoteltukin. Hääpari on nimittäin seurustellut jo 15 vuotta. Ihailtavaa heidän suhteessaan on se, että se alkuaikojen palo on edelleen selkeästi mukana. Kun he katsoivat toisiaan hääpäivänään, se tunne sisälläni vahvistui, että nämä kaksi todella ovat toisilleen tarkoitettu.

Last Saturday my sister said “I do” at Hirvihaara estate. This venue is the perfect setting for a wedding, and the whole day the sun was shining from a clear blue sky. The wedding was a success in so many ways. We laughed and danced until early morning and yes this emotional scatty cried again. Although I knew beforehand that there was going to be tears. We’ve been waiting for this wedding for a while as the couple has been together 15 years already. It is really charming to see how the spark from early days is still so clearly there. When they looked at each other on their wedding day, it confirmed the feeling I had inside, that these two really are meant for each other.
